About Us

The Fiske School PTO, Inc. is a non profit organization comprised of Fiske parents, guardians, teachers and the school Principal.  The mission of the Fiske PTO is to enhance and support the educational experience at Fiske, to develop a closer connection between school and home by encouraging parent involvement, and to improve the environment at Fiske through volunteer and financial support.

Membership is automatically granted to all parents and guardians of Fiske students, in addition to all staff at Fiske, without regard to race, color, religion creed or national origin.  There are no membership dues. But, voluntary tax deductible contributions are critical to meeting the PTO's annual goals.  Annual Membership Forms are available here  and can be completed and returned to the School Office.

The PTO Board consists of the elected Officers of the Fiske PTO, the Fiske Principal and a teacher representative nominated by the staff.  The PTO also has a system of approximately 30 committees. Generally one or two people chair each committee, leading activities, coordinating volunteers and keeping records. The committees are staffed by volunteers and supported by parent fundraising.

PTO meetings are held on the second Thursday of every month during the school year and all PTO members are encouraged to attend.
