Welcome from Mr. Martellone
Greetings and welcome to the Principal's Corner for Fiske School. I hope that students and families have been able to enjoy the warm summer weather we have had and that they have been able to participate in many fun, safe activities. For those in the school community that do not know me, my name is Thomas Martellone and I am at the start of my first year as principal of Fiske School. While new to Lexington, I am not new to education and feel fortunate to have been selected as Fiske's new principal. I most recently worked for the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education and prior to that I was a school administrator in Maine for the past 10 years. I am originally from Boston and I am excited to have relocated back to the city after quite a few years away. My hope for the upcoming years at Fiske is that we continue to provide students with safe learning environments, provide a high quality education, and that we continue provide an atmosphere that is welcoming and promotes learning for the entire school community. I feel privileged to have been chosen as principal of Fiske School, and I hope that as our school year unfolds I get to meet as many families in the community as possible and get to know all students. Please do not hesitate to contact me should you have any questions, concerns, or suggestions about Fiske School. Warm Regards, Thomas Martellone |
