These committees raise funds for curriculum enrichment, teacher grants and other unfunded Fiske activities.

Arts Community Event, Chairs: Chorlette O'Neill, Karen Cacciatore, Faith Kasparian

This is one of our first major fundraisers - scheduled for October. Money raised at this family event pays for the ACT programs that visit Fiske throughout the year. This committee is active from the start of school until the event in October and develops publicity, gathers donations and oversees activities on the day of the event.

Boxtops, Chair: Maureen McCann

Ever noticed those Box Tops on cereal boxes, Kleenex and other products?  Our Box Tops committee helps collect the Box Tops (that parents clip) from our students and sends them in twice a year to earn a donation!  Classrooms compete for the most box-tops collected and parents present the class award.

Fiske Frost Silent Auction, Chair: Open

This is a new event that we introduced in 2010.  Committee members plan an evening social event for parents and help raise money for Fiske at the same time.   Parents assist in the food, beverage and decorating selections for the evening and also write to, or call, vendors - local and national - seeking donations which can raise money for our school. 

School Photos, Chairs: Kathy Ilsley, Abby Janes, Laurie Schechner

We neeed parents to help with the annual school picture experience.  The photographer and date .are set so we just need to recruit a few parents to help comb hair and straighten collars!   This is a fun event that is over with in a day!

Teacher Silent Auction, Chair: Anne Wu

Fiske teachers and staff generously donate their time and talents to a teacher silent auction which is held during the annual Fiske Fair in May.  Volunteers are needed to solicit donations from teachers,  publicize the donations, and run the auction on the day of the fair.
