Scratch Junior with Einstein’s Workshop
Scratch is a computer programming language specifically designed for kids by the MIT Media Lab as a good first programming language. It teaches basic computer skills, mathematics and computation, creativity, systematic reasoning and team collaboration. Students will learn techniques to create their own interactive stories, animations, games, music, and art by snapping software blocks together using Scratch!
We will be offering 2 sections (A&B) at different dates
Class size limits: Minimum = 6 students; Maximum = 12 students
o Section A: Thursdays for 7 weeks (Jan 8 – Feb 26, no class on 2/19) from 12:30-1:30 pm
o Section B: Thursdays for 7 weeks (Mar 4 – Apr 16) from 12:30-1:30 pm
Please note, children will not have an opportunity to eat lunch before or during class.
PTO subsided cost: $132/student
