This is an exciting year for our 5th Graders; their final year of elementary school! We hope they enjoy this last year before middle school and take many good memories of their elementary journey onwards with them.
The 5th Grade Committee organizes yearbooks and t-shirts for our children as well as the celebration which will be held after their moving up ceremony at the end of June. Last year, the Fiske PTO also covered the expense for the transportation to the 5th Grade field trip.
Without generous sponsors we won’t be able to fulfill these meaningful and memorable keepsakes and events for our children. Last year, approximately $85 per 5th Grade student was spent on these items and events.
This event will be held Friday, October 24th during school hours from 10:45am to 12:15pm. This will be held outdoors on the Fiske fields. It will consist of stations, very similar to our field day, all with a “jump” element; long jump, jump rope, potato sack races, etc.
The funds raised for this event will help fund our end of year celebration, t-shirts and yearbooks!
Every student will be eligible to participate. There will be no minimum amount to raise per student. All 5th grade students will be able to take part in this healthy and spirited activity.
