Committee Member Expectations:

  • Meeting Attendance: We kindly ask that all committee chairs attend as many monthly meetings as possible to stay informed and connected.
  • Time and Support: We deeply respect the time you volunteer and appreciate it greatly. If things ever feel overwhelming, please don’t hesitate to reach out for help.
  • Budgeting: Please do not spend your own money on PTO activities. Each committee has its own budget—feel free to inquire about it. In the past, many have not claimed expenses, but we want to ensure this isn’t necessary.
  • Event Review: After conducting an event, please assist the co-presidents by conducting a retrospective to document our learnings, successes, and areas for improvement. This helps preserve knowledge for future committee chairs and builds on the foundations laid by others.
  • Finding a Successor: Committee chairs are expected to find a replacement before stepping down to ensure continuity.
  • Commitment: Your commitment is expected for a minimum of 1 year to ensure stability and progress.

We value your dedication and contribution to making our school a better place for all!
